Stopped by Mindi and Chris's after a trip to Orlando RV. Glad we did as we were grateful recipients of some of her garden produce - tomatoes and a cucumber. Yum! She has developed quite the green thumb. I don't know what we will get from our garden as the deer love munching on the tops of my tomato and pepper plants! They also like rose bushes and sunflowers. Any suggestions?

We finally have fish in the pond! Up until now its only inhabitants have been a frog and some tadpoles. It took longer and involved more expense than I planned on but on Saturday 2 fancy goldfish and 12 "feeder" goldfish found a new home in our pond. We ended up having to buy a UV clarifier and a second pump but the fish seem to be happy. We weren't able to find any affordable koi on Saturday but we'll keep looking.

We have a functioning pond! Unfortunately we had to buy a new pump and filter but now the "falls" are falling, the plants are are all placed, and it's ready for fish. Do we play it safe and buy feeder fish or do we splurge and buy a few koi?
