B-r-r-r!

Today we went to the top of Mount Washington. This mountain is less than half the size of Pike's Peak but the Cog Railway trip to the top was much more intense than our rail trip to the top of Pike's Peak. The grade on Mount Washington averages 25% and the train goes straight up the mountain! It was very chilly and windy at the top. Mt Washington summit  Our next stop was the Flume Gorge.Standing in front of Table Rock. It was a mile and a half hike and we all survived even Sarah. Tomorrow it's on to Maine. I want to apologize for not posting any of the vacation pictures in the vacation gallery. Apparently the internet connection that we have been using does not allow big uploads so I will have to wait until we get home to upload the pictures.
